Well Friday night I got a call from Roland Davis (Rollo) of the Orlando club. He, Jerry (Orl) and some others were going to Daytona for the day and wanted to know if I would like to meet them there. I said yes if I could find someone to ride with me and split the gas for the 120 mile drive. Got a hold of one of my local detecting buddies Will Rose, and off we went the next morning. We got there about 2 hours before low tide, and stayed till almost high tide. Here's Will unloading.....
1st 15 min on the beach I got this guy...
A few hours later I run into Rollo and Jerry Hitson of Orlando.

Now that's a very nice RING !!!
Then Rollo tells me the story how here just returned a platinum ring to a guy who lost it in the surf. I told him, the surf gods will smile upon you. Its good karma to return lost items. Sure enough about 15 minutes after I told him....BANG he pops out this......
I later found this silver dime stuck to and old nail...
Well we all a had a great time, everyone found something.
Here's my take for the day. 2 gold with real diamonds, 2 silver and one junk earring .....
