METAL DETECTING FRANCE
September 2007
Here is the finds I made during quick trip to FRANCE in September 2007. I only had one day to do any hunting. I was there on a trip for my work. I only detected around the chateau were we were staying and a park just outside of town. I found a few older coins and of course, some euros.
Another 50 caliber bullet. These things seem to be all over Europe.
Some kind of badge. Not sure if this is military or not. If you can identify it, let me know.
Couple of pre-Euro Francs.
1957 1 Franc, made out of aluminum.
1947 5 Francs coin, aluminum.
1951 50 Franc coin, brass alloy.
Very old copper coin, green and smooth. (greenie)
From the 40's and 50's. This is the condition of most of the aluminum coins I found.
