Hurricane damages of 2004
Here are some pictures from the Treasure Coast area after the hurricanes of 2004. These pictures are of Jaycee Park in Vero Beach and of Wabasso Beach.
Then the county acted, saying the beaches were unsafe for metal detectorist. But residents on the beach could walk up and down with out any problems.
Anyone with a metal detector was viewed by the residents of Johns Island as looters.
But I personally saw and Indian River police officer using a metal detector on the beach.
The HAVE and HAVE-NOTS !
